Go here and you can climb all over it!

Hmm, tried to find its entry in the Tourism BC Visitor Centre but it’s not there anymore. Might have been closed?

Here’s a video, though:

I’m curious if there are as many insufferable people in the BMW clubs as there are in the Porsche clubs. No offense of course since there are plenty of normal people , but the PCA people tend to be offputting to me most of the time. Just wondered if both clubs end up with that mix of people.

The “(insert brand) makes the best cars on the planet and I refuse to hear otherwise” type of people lol. As much as I love Miatas, I try not to fanboy them too much and just enjoy all cars and owners equally. But the communities like that are why I dont really dream of owning a 911 some day even if I had all the money in the world.

* drives a Cadillac and no longer owns any BMWs*

* still hangs out with them on applicable events*

That ought to answer your concern somewhat ;-) Also, there are always a few non-BMWs on this trip, including mine... and my coverage for them will be posted in tomorrow’s Part 4.

Also, once you have your 911, why not just go onto solo driving trips with DSLR and GoPro in tow? Then you can share your photos and videos here, where they will definitely be appreciated by our audience.

I definitely see your point regarding brand snobbery when it comes to car clubs, and I guess I’m pretty lucky that our BMW Club caters to the BMW “driving experience” (which the Cadillac thankfully excels) instead of the BMW badge itself. Hence I am still around and paying my dues.

Well yeah I will definitely have a Porsche some day, but it will be a barebones base model Cayman S with no options purchased as the second or third owner for sure . I just cant get behind the hype of the 911 and all of the heavy luxury shit in the newer ones. Porsche people seem to think the Cayman is a bastard car anyways haha.

That is awesome though, that is definitely the right sort of club!
